Memory of food
Delicious
The memory of food, smells and sounds are formed before birth. I was six weeks old when I was displaced to the Netherlands, so there are added memories from the short time that I lived in Indonesia. In 2023 I returned to meet my family for the first time. My body and soul - my whole being - felt home the moment I walked out of the airport in Jakarta. This is an ongoing project.
